Recent improvements like Continuum were no doubt a factor in another major accolade recently earned by Armstrong. Last fall, the company was voted the Favorite Resilient & Hard Surface Manufacturer in all five categories of Floor Focus magazine’s 2011 Top 250 Design Survey. In the latest annual survey, Armstrong was the most admired among top designers in service, quality, design, performance and value for its hard surface flooring, which includes vinyl, laminate and hardwood in addition to linoleum.
“You know you have a quality product when a broad selection of design industry professionals votes you the best in every available category,” added Greenberg. “It’s partially because Armstrong does every kind of floor well, from hardwood to linoleum, but they also listen closely to what their customers want.”The Marmorette linoleum line also includes Armstrong’s new Continuum color and design system, which opens up 67 tonal step options for quick and easy color specifications. Continuum debuted in the Marmorette and Granette lines in 2009 with the goal of better uniting hue, value and chroma for customers.
